Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Adako for using the Service. Written to be read, and binding all the same.Last updated 11 September 2026
In short
- Adako changes nothing without your approval. An approved change is your instruction, and the ad spend it leads to is yours.
- AI assistants can be wrong. Read the preview before you approve.
- Connect only ad accounts you are allowed to manage, and follow each platform’s rules.
- Pro renews monthly until you cancel. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the period ends.
- The Service is provided as is, and our liability is capped.
This summary helps you find your way. The numbered sections below are what apply.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name] (“Adako”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of the adako.ai website, the Adako web app, the MCP endpoint at adako.ai/mcp and API access with Adako keys (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, authorising an AI client or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms and confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service for an organisation, you accept these Terms on its behalf and confirm that you have authority to do so. “You” then means that organisation. You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for business or professional purposes.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.
2. The Service
Adako connects AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code, to your advertising accounts on Google Ads, Meta and ChatGPT Ads. Through Adako the assistant can read account data and propose changes. Adako previews each change, executes it once you approve, and reads it back.
Adako is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Google, Meta, OpenAI or the provider of any AI assistant it works with.
Features labelled preview or beta may change or be withdrawn at any time, and come with no commitment of availability.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password, API keys and AI client authorisations secure. Activity through them is treated as yours, including requests an AI assistant makes on your behalf.
- Do not create several accounts to get around plan limits.
- If you suspect someone else is using your account, revoke affected keys on the Keys page and tell us at once at security@adako.ai.
4. Connected ad accounts
- Connect only ad accounts you own or are authorised to manage. You confirm that the account owner allows you to use a third-party tool with them.
- You authorise Adako to access each connected account with the permissions you grant, and to make the changes you approve.
- You remain the advertiser. You are responsible to each platform for following its terms and advertising policies, for the content of your ads, and for paying all advertising spend. Adako does not pay for, hold or manage your ad budget.
- Platforms can change or withdraw API access, reject or alter changes, and restrict accounts. Adako is not responsible for platform decisions, and may have to change or remove platform features because of them.
- Disconnecting a platform or closing your Adako account does not undo changes already made. Campaigns and ads stay as they are in the platform.
5. AI assistants and approvals
This section sets out who is responsible for what when an AI assistant works on your ad accounts. Please read it carefully.
- AI output can be wrong. Your AI assistant, not Adako, decides which tools to call and writes the analysis, recommendations and ad copy it gives you. It can misread data, misunderstand you or propose unsuitable changes. Adako does not review or guarantee what an assistant says.
- Every change is a proposal. Adako turns each write into a proposal with a preview. Under the direct write policy, your confirmation in the AI assistant is your approval. Under the inbox policy, you approve on the Approvals page. A pending proposal expires after 48 hours and never runs.
- An approved proposal is your instruction. When you approve, you instruct Adako to make that change in your ad account. You are responsible for the change and its consequences, including advertising spend.
- New objects are created paused. Campaigns, ad sets and ads that Adako creates start paused. Turning them on, in the platform or by approving a resume, is your decision.
- Safety features reduce risk. They do not remove it. Previews, dry runs, exactly-once execution and read-back depend on the platforms, which can apply a change late, differently or not at all. Check important changes in the platform itself.
- No professional advice. Adako does not give advertising, legal, financial or tax advice, and does not guarantee any result from your campaigns.
6. Plans and billing
- Plans. The Free and paid plans, their prices and their limits are described on the Pricing page. A task is one billable tool call. System tools are free, and a rejected proposal still counts as the task that produced it. Unused tasks do not carry over to the next period.
- Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for each renewal.
- Cancellation. Cancel at any time in the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account returns to Free.
- Refunds. Fees are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Taxes. Prices exclude taxes. You pay any VAT, sales tax or similar charges that apply.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may move the account to Free until it is settled.
- Price changes. We email you at least 30 days before a price change affects your subscription. It applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before it does.
- Free plan. We may change the Free plan’s limits or discontinue it, with notice.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service, or try to use it, to:
- break any law, or any ad platform’s terms or advertising policies;
- run ads that are deceptive, discriminatory, infringing or otherwise unlawful;
- access ad accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access;
- get around plan limits, rate limits, the proposal flow or any security control;
- probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities, except under our responsible disclosure policy and only with your own accounts;
- overload or disrupt the Service, including with automated traffic beyond normal tool use;
- copy, reverse engineer or decompile the Service, except where the law allows it;
- resell or sublicense access to the Service. Managing ad accounts for clients you are authorised to act for is allowed;
- extract platform data in breach of a platform’s terms, or use it to build datasets for training AI models;
- distribute malware or send spam.
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend access while we do.
8. Your data
- You own your data: your account information, the data in your connected ad accounts, and what you submit, such as ad copy, images and instructions (“Your Data”).
- You grant Adako a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display Your Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service, and as described in the Privacy Policy. The licence ends when Your Data is deleted.
- You confirm that you have the rights needed for what you submit, including the right to publish it through the ad platforms.
- We may create aggregated, de-identified statistics about how the Service is used, such as tool error rates, and use them to operate and improve the Service. They do not identify you or your ad accounts.
- The Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data. Business customers can request a data processing agreement at privacy@adako.ai.
9. Third-party services
The Service works with services we do not control: the ad platforms, AI assistants, Stripe and Google sign-in. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability, content or conduct, including what an AI assistant does with data Adako returns to it.
10. Our intellectual property
- Adako and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, documentation and brand. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing.
- Materials we publish under an open-source licence, such as the Adako skills and client configuration files, are governed by that licence.
- If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or payment.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and there is no service level unless we agree one in writing. We may carry out maintenance and add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is central to a paid plan, we tell you in advance where practical, and you may cancel.
12. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time. To close your account, follow Deleting your data in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or end your access, with notice where practical, if you materially breach these Terms, do not pay, put the Service, other users or the ad platforms at risk, or if the law or a platform requires us to.
- When your account ends, your right to use the Service stops, stored platform tokens are erased, and your data is deleted as the Privacy Policy describes. Objects in your ad accounts stay as they are. Fees already due remain payable. The sections on your data, our intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and the general terms continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
In particular, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that data, reports or metrics from the platforms are accurate or complete, that any AI assistant’s output is correct, or that your advertising will achieve any result.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Adako is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, or for advertising spend, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.
- Adako’s total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Adako in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, and 100 US dollars.
- These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Adako, and its officers, employees and contractors, against third-party claims, and the resulting losses, damages and reasonable legal costs, arising from your ads and content, your use of connected ad accounts, or your breach of these Terms, of any law or of any platform policy. We will tell you promptly about such a claim, let you control its defence, and cooperate reasonably at your expense. You may not settle a claim in a way that places obligations on Adako without our consent.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We post the new version here and change the date at the top. For material changes we email you at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the law or a security risk requires a change sooner. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel before then.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of [Court location] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before starting proceedings, contact us at support@adako.ai and give us 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings in its courts.
18. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Adako about the Service, and replace any earlier understanding.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, it is enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the rest of these Terms stays in effect.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a provision now does not waive the right to enforce it later.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages or API changes at ad platforms, AI providers or hosting providers.
- Relationship. The parties are independent contractors. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture or employment relationship.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account. Send legal notices to [Legal entity name], [Registered address], [Country], with a copy to support@adako.ai.
- Sanctions and export. You confirm that you are not subject to sanctions, and you will not use the Service in breach of export control or sanctions laws.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience, and the English version prevails.
