Connect Perplexity
Perplexity takes remote MCP connectors by URL. Adako is one address and a sign-in.
In the browser
- On the web, open perplexity.ai/computer/connectors. In the desktop app, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Add a custom connector. Enter Adako as the name and the URL below as the MCP server URL, and choose OAuth as the authentication.

- Start a new thread and switch the Adako connector on for it.
Custom connectors are a paid feature: a free Perplexity account has no place to add one. An Enterprise admin can also share a connector with the whole organisation, or switch off members adding their own. Where connectors are unavailable, Adako runs from any other client on this page or over the REST API.
Desktop app
The desktop app keeps the same connector list as the website.
- Open the Perplexity desktop app and go to Settings, then Connectors.
- Add a custom connector with Adako as the name and the URL below, authenticating with OAuth.

Test it
Ask for something read-only first. This call is free and changes nothing.

Using Adako, tell me which ad accounts are connected.You should get back what is connected, which account is active, and two or three prompts worth trying next. If nothing is connected yet, the answer says so and links to the Accounts page.
When a write comes back as a proposal
Under the inbox policy, a write returns a proposal id and a diff instead of a result. Say “approve it” in the chat, or open Approvals and approve it there. Under direct, your confirmation in the chat is the approval.
