Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT adds Adako through developer-mode connectors. Read tools appear first; writes come back as proposals.

The URL

Adako is one endpoint. Every client below needs the same address.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and turn on developer mode.
  2. Choose Create / Add connector.
  3. Paste the Adako MCP URL: https://adako.ai/mcp
  4. Authenticate with OAuth when prompted.
  5. In a chat, enable the Adako connector for that conversation.
ChatGPT shows read-only tools by default. Write tools return a proposal you approve in chat or at /approvals.

Test it

Ask for something read-only first. This call is free and changes nothing.

When a write comes back as a proposal

Under the inbox policy, a write returns a proposal id and a diff instead of a result. Say “approve it” in the chat, or open Approvals and put your seal on it there. Under direct, your confirmation in the chat is the approval.
