Adako is an MCP server that connects Claude Code to your Google Ads account. One command adds the server, and the Adako plugin adds eleven skills that carry the operating procedure. Audit an account, launch campaigns paused and approve changes without leaving the terminal.
From the audit: both paid more than your $80 CPA ceiling over the last 30 days.

実例·What you can ask
Questions to ask about your Google Ads account
Start with a question. Adako finds the Google Ads report that answers it and returns the numbers.
01Which search terms spent money last month and never converted?
02Show me campaign performance for the last 30 days against the 30 before it.
03Which keywords have a CPA above $80, and what would pausing them save?
04Build a Search campaign for our spring offer, paused, with a $40 daily budget.
05Add the search terms with no conversions as exact-match negatives.
06Why did conversions drop last week, and which campaign, device or country accounts for it?
“Audit the account and tell me what to fix first.”
Wasted spend, a campaign that stopped serving and two keywords above their CPA ceiling, ordered by what they cost. Each item carries the proposal that would fix it.
Asking costs nothing on any plan. When a prompt asks for a change, you get a proposal first, and Google Ads stays as it is until you approve it.

Connect Claude Code to Google Ads
Claude Code needs one command in any terminal, with OAuth or an API key. Then connect Google Ads on the Adako Accounts page.
01Open a terminal in any project.
02Copy and run the command below.
03Start Claude Code, run /mcp, and complete the authorization screen in your browser.
04Start a new session and ask Claude Code to use Adako.
05Optional: install the Adako plugin for the eleven skills. Inside Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add ruslan2027/adako-mcp, then /plugin install adako@adako. The plugin registers its own adako server, so remove the one from step 2 with claude mcp remove adako to keep a single copy. Then run /mcp and sign in to the plugin’s server.

Add Adako
claude mcp add --transport http adako https://adako.ai/mcp
The plugin brings eleven skills with it, so the assistant already knows the operating procedure: read before write, resolve ids before a create, never retry a create that may have succeeded. Ad ops sits beside the rest of your work in the terminal.
Behind them sit 70 Google Ads tools. Your assistant picks the right ones for each request.
01
Find the spend that never converts
Adako lists every search term with no conversions that spent at least a threshold (by default the cost of 10 average clicks in the account, or a figure you set), totals the waste, and proposes a negative keyword for each with a match type and the reason. The analysis is a read, so it is free on every plan; the negatives are added only after you approve them.
02
Read performance at every level
Campaign, ad group, ad and keyword, with the previous period beside it. Search terms, quality signals, geo, hourly and device breakdowns. When a number moves, Adako splits the change by campaign, device, network, country and search term, and ranks the segments by how much of it each one accounts for.
03
Launch Search and Performance Max campaigns, paused
Adako resolves locations, languages and audiences to Google ids before anything is written, validates the draft against the campaign spec, and creates the campaign PAUSED. You look at it in the Google Ads interface and turn it on yourself.
04
Manage budgets, bids, keywords and assets
Daily budgets, bid strategies, ad schedules, device modifiers, assets and extensions, keyword and negative lists, labels. Every change is a proposal with a field-level diff, executed exactly once and read back from Google afterwards.
05
Watch the account daily
Rules run once a day against Adako’s synced copy of the account: CPA above a ceiling, ROAS below a target, spend rising faster than its baseline, a campaign that stopped serving. They email you, and a rule with an action proposes the pause or the budget cut. Monitors are included from the Pro plan.
Run the add command from the Claude Code setup page, start Claude Code, run /mcp and complete the authorisation in your browser. An API key works instead of OAuth for servers and CI jobs.
What do the Claude Code skills add?
They carry the operating procedure: read before write, resolve locations and audiences to ids before a create, never retry a create that may already have succeeded, and always show the proposal before asking to approve it.
Can an AI agent create Google Ads campaigns?
Yes. With Adako connected, your assistant can build a Search or Performance Max campaign end to end: keywords, ad groups, responsive search ads, locations, budget and bid strategy. It is created PAUSED, so nothing spends until you open Google Ads and turn it on. The research and validation steps are free reads; the create itself costs one task.
Is it safe to let an AI agent change my Google Ads account?
Every change is a proposal first: a summary, a field-level diff of the exact fields that move, and the expected impact. Nothing reaches Google until you approve it, it then runs exactly once, and Adako reads the object back so you see what Google actually stored. Reads change nothing and run immediately.
How does Adako find wasted spend in Google Ads?
It pulls the search terms report for the period you name, keeps the terms with no conversions that spent at least a threshold (by default the cost of 10 average clicks in your account), totals that spend, and proposes a negative keyword for each with a match type and a reason. The whole audit is a read, so it costs nothing on any plan.
Which Google Ads campaign types does Adako support?
It reads every campaign type in the account, including Display and Shopping. It creates Search and Performance Max campaigns, both paused. For a type it cannot create, it says so rather than guessing.
Does Adako use the official Google Ads API?
Yes. Adako talks to the official Google Ads API with your own OAuth grant, paced within Google’s limits. It never automates the Google Ads web interface, and you can disconnect the platform on the Accounts page at any time.
