用例Google Ads
Find the negative keywords your Google Ads account is missing.
Adako is an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants work in your Google Ads account. Ask which searches cost money and never converted. It reads the search terms report, proposes a negative keyword for each with a match type and a reason, and adds only the ones you approve.

課題The problem
Why this is slow by hand
Broad and phrase match keywords match searches you never chose. The search terms report lists them, but it is long, and a negative added on a hunch can block the query that was paying for the campaign.
The check itself is mechanical. Find the queries that spent with no conversion, find the words they share, confirm none of those words appear in a query that converted, then pick a match type. Adako runs that check every time.
手順How it works
What Adako runs, step by step
- 01
google_analyze_search_termsRead · freePulls the search terms by spend for the period and sorts them into three groups: converting, wasted, and not yet a keyword or a negative. A term is wasted when it spent at least the threshold and recorded no conversion.
- 02
google_analyze_search_termsRead · freeBuilds the suggestions in the same call. A word found in 3 or more wasted queries and in no converting query becomes a phrase negative. The costliest remaining wasted queries become exact negatives. A word that appears in any converting query is never suggested.
- 03
google_add_negative_keywordsWrite · 1 task, after approvalAdds the negatives you keep to one campaign. The preview skips any already there, runs Google’s validate-only check, and shows each term going from “triggers ads” to “blocked”. After you approve, it runs once and reads the campaign’s negatives back.
Defaults
- Period
- Last 30 days, or any range you name
- Search terms read
- 200 by spend (10 to 500)
- Wasted threshold
- The cost of 10 average clicks in the account, or a figure you set
- Phrase negative
- A word in 3+ wasted queries and in no converting one
- Suggestions
- Up to 10 phrase and 15 exact
- Negatives per write
- Up to 200, on one campaign
Every write is a proposal first. Nothing reaches Google Ads until you approve it, and then it runs once and is read back.
実例Example
What asking looks like
You ask
“Which search terms wasted money last month? Suggest negatives.”
Adako answers
212 search terms over the last 30 days. 34 converted. 27 spent at least $18.40 with no conversion, $1,146 in total. The threshold is the cost of 10 average clicks here (average CPC $1.84). Suggested negatives, nothing added yet:
| Negative | Match type | Wasted spend | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| free | PHRASE | $312.60 | In 9 zero-conversion queries, none that converted |
| jobs | PHRASE | $148.20 | In 4 zero-conversion queries, none that converted |
| crm software download | EXACT | $64.10 | $64.10 across 31 clicks, no conversion |
Approve and the three negatives are added to the campaign.
An example exchange. The account, names and figures are invented; the columns and the rules behind them are the ones the tool returns.
料金Cost
What it costs
The analysis is a read, so it costs nothing on any plan and can run every week. Adding negatives is one write, and one call carries up to 200 of them.
Reads are free on every plan. A write takes tasks from the plan’s monthly allowance.
| Plan | Price | Ad accounts | Tasks a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 | 30 |
| Pro | $49/month | 5 | 600 |
| Agency | $149/month | 20 | 5,000 |

限界Where it stops
Limits worth knowing
- Google hides low-volume search terms and its search term data lags about a day, so the report does not add up to campaign spend.
- Negatives go on one campaign per call. This job does not write ad group negatives or shared negative lists.
- Word-level suggestions read the letters a to z and digits only. A query in another script still gets an exact negative, never a phrase one.
- A negative never covers close variants. A plural or a misspelling needs its own entry.
- Removing a negative is a separate tool that asks for an explicit confirmation.
質問FAQ
Questions people ask
How do I find negative keywords in Google Ads?
Pull the search terms report for the last 30 days, keep the queries that spent money and never converted, and look for the words they share. Check each word against the queries that did convert before you block it. With Adako connected, ask your assistant which search terms should be negatives and it runs that procedure as a free read.
Should a negative keyword be phrase or exact match?
Phrase when a word is the problem wherever it appears, such as “free” or “jobs”: a phrase negative blocks every query that contains it. Exact when only that one query is wrong. Adako suggests phrase only for a word found in 3 or more wasted queries and in no query that converted.
Can the AI add negative keywords without asking me?
No. Adding negatives is a write, so it arrives as a proposal listing every term and its match type. Nothing reaches Google until you approve it, in the chat or on the Approvals page.
Can a negative keyword block searches that convert?
Yes, which is why a word that appears in any converting query is never suggested. Broad negatives need the most care: the preview warns that they block more than they look like they do.
